Bio Zell Dincht is one of the main characters from Final Fantasy VIII. He's an energetic young man who gets angry very easily. He tends to overreact to Seifer's teasing, especially when he calls him chicken wuss.
For most of his life, Zell lived in Balamb where he is well known by the locals. They look up to him, often making comments on how great Zell is and they enjoy talking about his many "accomplishments" However, due to the GF's effects, Zell experienced memory loss, which resulted in him losing the memories he had about the orphanage. The orphanage was where Zell, Squall, Selphie, Quistis, Seifer, and Irvine grew up and were taken care of by Ellone, or "Big Sis", as they liked to call her. Eventually, Zell got adopted by Mrs. Dincht. The relationship he has with his mother is a very deep one. It's obvious he really cares for her, because he often makes trips back to town to make sure she's doing well.
Zell likes to think highly of this fighting capabilities, and often picks fights with people who may be bigger, or more powerful than he is. He is also often referred to as a momma's boy seeing as he was the only one in the group who still lives with his mother.
It was never really confirmed, but it was implied that he had a bit of a crush on the girl with the pigtails. He acted awkwardly around her, and the same could be said about her.
Zell acts with his fists and not his brain for the most part. During one scene, Zell was on a mission with the forest owls and he accidentally let it slip that he was from Balamb garden, thus endagering the entire operation. He felt really bad about it afterwards, but the fact was that he couldn't keep his mouth shut, even in such an important mission. He made up for it though, and volunteered to go inside the building that held the deadly rocket launchers.
Zell has quite an odd obsession with hotdogs, and during the game, he was never early enough in the cafeteria lunch line to actually get any ( he does eventually get to eat hotdogs, but thats only during the end movie scene)
He also has a strong desire to become the best so can impress his mother and the rest of the people of Balamb.
